This course is a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
It is specifically designed for individuals who have previously attended an HSE approved 3 day first aid course and their certificate is due to expire but is still in date.
Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as first aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It is designed to give the first aider the skills necessary to give effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries or illness, and maintain care and comfort of the casualty while waiting for the medical services to arrive
This First Aid at Work Refresher Course is normally run over two consecutive days and allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work for qualified staff, but by arrangement the course can be run on days to suit the client such as non-consecutive days if necessary

Maximum course size 12 deligates Please note that candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by more than 28 days)
First Aid at Work certificate by an HSE approved training provider, which must be shown at the start of this course. If you
are unsure of the validity of your existing certificate please contact us and we will be glad to advise you.
The course is assessed via a practical assessment by independent assessors. If successful the delegate will receive a
HSE approved First Aid at Work certificate, which will be valid for three years
